Interior decorator and award-winning blogger, Paloma Contreras describes her design aesthetic as “a modern take on traditional style.” Of course we love how Contreras embraces the timeless lines and styles of traditional furniture, while incorporating modern pops of color and texture. “I love to mix pieces from various time periods and design movements that can range from masculine to feminine and from traditional to modern,” she says.
The success of her award-wining design blog, La Dolce Vita, and being named one of House Beautiful’s “Next Wave Designers to Watch,” has made Contreras a recognized name in the industry. So, naturally, we were thrilled to see what antique and vintage pieces she would pick as her favorites from our site.
