5. Rare, Large Vintage Photograph by Kodak c. 1910

The piece: A small number of these promotional prints where made by Eastman Kodak Co. to be displayed at primary photographic supply stores. They represent the earliest use of photographic enlarging. Printed from giant glass plate negatives measuring 14″ x 17″ this image is extraordinarily rich and detailed. Few examples survive as they where never protected by glass. The print is on the original linen mount. Original dark oak frame.
