As the cooler temperatures settle in for the change of seasons, it’s the perfect time to feather your nest and add interesting pieces, fine or familiar, to your décor. Fall antique shows are about kick-off around the country and our list below highlights a selection of events not to be missed.
September 6 – September 11 / Highly regarded by design insiders as the place to shop for a range of decor, from important to primitive. Word of advice, take a day to walk the entire show and bring a cart to tote around your finds.
September 8 – September 11 / Featuring 75 top exhibitors from around the country and the globe specializing in fine antique furniture, decorative and fine arts. Period examples represent the styles of the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. This year’s show will be held at a new location, Silver Street Studios.
September 26 – October 1 / Celebrating 49 years in the Lone Star State, this fan favorite fair not only offers the best of Americana style but recently added dealers exhibiting eye catching finds from across the pond.
October 21 – October 23 / In its third successful year, this show features the best of the best of 20th century design. Forty premier national and international dealers will be offering a range of period décor – furniture, decorative and fine arts.
October 21 – October 23 / Get the opportunity to experience in person all the terrific content readers have come to love – decorating, crafting and eating – published in Country Living Magazine. Attend seminars and demonstrations, enjoy delicious food, shop an assortment of vintage and handmade décor, and get a chance to meet the magazine’s editors.
October 22 – October 26 / Open to the trade only, ‘High Point’ happens twice a year and brings together a who’s who within the design world to explore and shop a variety of showrooms offering antiques and vintage finds alongside the very latest in current design trends.
October 27 – October 30 / Enjoy perusing exceptional fine and decorative arts offered from sixty dealers representing both the United States and Europe. To be noted, this show is the oldest continuously operating international art and antiques show on the West Coast.
November 4 – November 6 / This show benefits United Veterans Services and will feature over 200 premier exhibitors from across the U.S., Canada and Europe offering fine antiques and decorative arts representing all design movements of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries and introducing vintage 20th century modern.
November 9 – November 13 / Featuring a distinguished set of dealers offering a scope of decorative furnishings and accessories, fine antique and estate jewelry, Asian antiquities, sculpture, textiles, American and European silver, furniture, fine art and more.
November 17 – November 20 / Located within The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts, 40 exhibitors showcase exceptional pieces from the design period spectrum. Shop the best of classic and contemporary décor plus attend panel discussions and meet today’s home design experts.
